Custom made for cultural oasis
Kulturhuset, the Stockholm House of Culture at Sergels Torg was opened to the publicin the 1970s and has since been one of Sweden’s most famous and well-visited buildings. The large glass house was designed by world-famous architect Peter Celsing to be a cultural oasis in the middle of the city. As of now, a number of bespoke Swedese chairs, designed by Maria Angantyr and Clara Lindencrona, can be found in the café on the street level.
