The Libri shelf is nominated for the 2008 Swedish Design Award

April 2, 2008

The Swedish Design Award premiers for the second time around the best examples of Swedish design. Among over 200 contributions only 19 designs have been nominated by a renowned jury headed by Professor Kersti Sandin Bülow. A number of these nominees will then in June be premiered with the Swedish Design Award.

The Advertising Association of Sweden, the Swedish Industrial Design Foundation and Svensk Form (the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design) have jointly created Swedish Design Award to reward Sweden's best design solutions with a "Design S". Creative products and services in all areas are welcome.

Swedish Design Award aims to demonstrate that good design can lead to better communication, better business, better functionality and better sustainability. In short, that good design can be of decisive importance.
